About the Program

Background

Water - Learn it! Live it! (Water – LiLi) is a comprehensive water education program delivered by Melbourne’s state government owned water businesses (City West Water, South East Water, Yarra Valley Water and Melbourne Water).

Water – Learn it! Live it! Accreditation Program

The Water – LiLi accreditation program provides schools with the opportunity to be recognised for their commitment to water conservation.  It is a free program funded by the state government’s Our Water Our Future program.

How to become accredited

Your school must complete each of the milestones in the Water – LiLi program in the Bronze, Silver or Gold category.  After your school commits to the program, your Water – LiLi officer will document each milestone as you achieve it.  Schools generally start their journey at Bronze and eventually progress through to Silver and Gold, although schools are welcome to stop after Bronze or Silver if they choose.  Upon accreditation schools will receive a durable metal sign as well as a framed certificate of accreditation.  Click here to join today!
