National Water Week was a busy week for the "Water - Learn it! Live it!" team.  We ran a number of competitions and events across metropolitan Melbourne.  All of Melbourne's water businesses were involved in the primary school poster competition as well as the teacher professional development session run at the Western Treatment Plant in Werribee.

City West Water and Melbourne Water partnered up to run the second annual "Water Week Idol" where children have an opportunity to communicate their watery learnings through song and dance.

South East Water ran both a primary school documentary competition as well as a secondary school advertising competition with a screening at Federation Square!

And last, but not least, Yarra Valley Water ran a short film competition with a screening at the Whitehorse Centre in Nunawading attended by Kirsty Marshall MP with special guest Natalie Hunter from Totally Wild.

Celebrating National Water week is a great way to help achieve your Water LiLi bronze accreditation, but don't worry if you missed out as there is another opportunity to celebrate water during World Water Day on 22 March 2010.
